Dr. P. NIRMALA
M.E., PhD.,
Dr.P. Nirmala is a Professor in Medical Instrumentation department with 20 years of rich teaching experience. She has done her B.E. in Electronics and communication and M.E in Embedded and Ph.D. in signal processing. She has done most of her research in signal processing, Embedded and image processing. She has presented the research work in several conferences and referred journals. Currently her research interest includes signal processing and image processing. She has also organised several workshops, seminars and conferences funded from CSIR and DRDO.
Dr. G. Gulothungan
M.E., PhD.,
Had done most of his research in the area of computational biology and reproductive biology and published more than 21 international journal and 12 conference research articles; he received UGC-BSR fellowship during his research period and served as JRF, SRF and contributed as life member in Indian science and technical society. Currently he is focused on doing research with Ion effects of cardiovascular diseases in ventricular cells and the Purkinje fibers, sperm cells and nanomaterials.
Dr. Darwin Britto

R. Darwin Britto started his career as Software Programmer in Verilog Networks Pvt. Ltd and eventually shifted to teaching field .He is an BE (ECE), M.E in Power Electronics and Drives from Anna University. He is a dynamic faculty with an overall experience of 12 years in industry and teaching. His teaching areas of interest include Communication, Sensors and Devices, Circuits, Microprocessor and all related laboratory as well. He has published papers related to IOT, RFID, and autism in both national and international journals and also participated in various Faculty Development Programs, Seminars and Workshops.
Dr. R. Geetha
M.E., PhD.,
R. Geetha is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering,. She has received the B.E. in Instrumentation and Control Engineering, and M.E. in Electronics from Madurai Kamaraj University, and Madras Institute of Technology, Chennai in 2000 and 2002 respectively. Completed Ph.D. Degree from VIT university Chennai during the year 2021. She has more than 14 years of rich teaching and research experience. She has published up to 15 papers in reputed International Conferences and refereed Journals. Her research interests include multimedia security intrusion detection systems, machine learning paradigms and medical image analysis.
Dr. M. Vijayakumar
M.Sc., PhD., S.E.T
His research field of interest is on Glass and ceramics for various commercial and industrial applications and published about 20 SCI indexed journals in the field of rare earth doped glasses for various applications and received best paper awards for a research work in various reputed international and national conferences. He has a working experience of 4 years with National Project Implementation Unit, A Unit of MHRD, Govt. of India under Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme (TEQIP-III) and had a Post-Doctoral Research Experience also. He has reorganized as a reviewer in various SCI journals of Elsevier and Springer. He is a university rank holder during his UG, PG course and received three academic distinction awards such as K. Mahesh memorial award, R. Balasubramanian award and Devadas astronomy award.
Dr. T. Usharani
M.Sc., PhD.,
She has more than 5 years of research experience from SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai. Her area of expertise is medical thermal imaging. Her research interest includes biomedical instrumentation, bio-signal processing/analysis, and non-invasive disease diagnosis for healthcare applications. She has published her research articles in high-impact journals and also obtained a patent. She has presented her research work in reputed international conferences and also published a book chapter on thermal imaging.
